The palette that has been all over social media. The palette that some of us are still anxiously waiting to purchase (it sold out in 45 minutes!)
The Jaclyn Hill Palette by Morphe is finally out after two years of Jaclyn telling us so much about a “special product coming soon” through snapchat.
This eye shadow palette is the 4th Morphe palette I've purchased and I have to say it’s really like no other. Jaclyn’s palette looks and feels nothing like any other Morphe palette. I feel that a lot of Morphe palettes bring many chalky shadows and a lot of colors that look far too similar to each other. I get very bored of their palettes quickly.
In her YouTube video presenting the product for the first time, Jaclyn explains that the palette took two years to make because she really took her time with each and every shadow. She mentions that each shadow is unique because every shade is pressed differently, meaning they are all a different type (matte, shimmer, duo-chrome, etc.)
I am the queen of using at least three different eye shadow palettes for just one eye look. With this palette, I’ve been able to create so many looks using just this one alone. It is currently my favorite because it brings every single shade I need for any look I want to create. Whether you want an easy every day look, a golden smokey eye or an over the top dramatic look, this product allows for endless looks for every kind of person. The pigmentation on these shades is insane. For what you are getting, $38 is such an affordable price. They are as good (or even better in my opinion) as the Naked palettes by Urban Decay.
Since I’ve gotten the palette, I haven’t been able to set it down! I’m completely obsessed because it truly brings the right colors for me. My other Morphe palettes never seem to have the exact colors I want. A lot of the other palettes from the brand bring shades that are too orange for me or are just not pigmented enough. I was very excited to receive the 35R palette but was slightly disappointed to find that the shades of gold were either too orange or yellow. This brings me as to why the Jaclyn Hill Palette really works for everyone. It brings those neutral, warm, cool and dark tones we all love. It brings every shade you will ever need.
Although I have been a HUGE supporter of Jaclyn Hill since day one, I was skeptical as to how her palette would be since my last purchase of Morphe (35R palette) left me unsatisfied; however, this has become my go-to palette for every occasion. Jaclyn and Linda Morphe herself sure out did themselves with this one!
Be sure to catch the restock on 07/18/17 8am PST (11am for my Miami gals!)
I highly advise being on the Morphe site 10-20 minutes before launch time!
The marked shades have been my go-to colors for every day. I've been mixing all four shadows all around my crease and lid with just one fluffy brush. Apply these colors, pop on some mascara and you're done! Super simple and quick!
Unfortunately the palette does not display the shade names but does bring a small card that looks like this!
Used the Shades Silk Creme, M.F.E.O, Pukey, Meeks and Central Park for this easy look!
