If I’m not repeatedly watching The Office every week, I’m most likely binge watching a new series I randomly stumbled upon.

My taste in TV shows is pretty scattered as I usually enjoy anything from thrillers, humor, horror, drama…you name it.

Here’s 5 must-see Netflix shows you probably haven’t watched.

1.    DR. FOSTER

I seriously couldn't stop watching this series because every episode just got better and better. Gemma Foster is a doctor who seems to “have it all” until she discovers her husband’s infidelity by finding a strand of blonde hair on his coat. The show unveils her desperation and craziness to seek revenge and understanding toward her husband. It was almost frustrating to watch because her situation worsens by the minute. Overall, the British series is pretty dark but done very well. And let’s just say….payback’s a b*tch.

This two-part series shows life & death in a different way than what we know. A young girl discovers she’s able to travel different dimensions through death and is eventually captured by an obsessed scientist seeking to learn more about her traveling power. She’s encaged with other special beings who seem to have same ability as her and together they discover movements that allow them to escape into another dimension. She develops feelings for the man whose cage is right next to hers named Homer and the show takes a turn when OA (the main character) finds herself in a different dimension and will do anything to get back to her lover. The entire series shows death in a different perspective and I can’t stop thinking about how part 2 ends!

With humor, suspense & drama all in one, three moms rob their local grocery store to escape financial struggles. Their original plan is to obtain enough cash from the store to manage their finances and never have to rob again. Except…a large portion of the money they stole belongs to a gang and before they know it, it’s life or death for the trio. Making a deal with the devil means working as part of the gang in exchange for their safety. So binge-worthy!

Emily Osment is the star of Young & Hungry where she portrays Gabi, a young personal chef in love with her boss. She tends to meddle in everyone’s life & the show is overall hilarious. Each episode is only about 20 minutes and gives you that feel good sense that Friends does. If you watch this show you may recognize a few faces like Jesse McCartney, Ashley Tisdale and obviously Emily Osment.

City girl + former New Yorker, Dr. Zoe Hart accepts an offer from her father to work in his medical practice in Alabama. She arrives and discovers he is deceased and has left her the entire practice. She must learn to adapt to a small town where she finds herself in a love affair. The series is simultaneously a romantic comedy and a show about the quirky antics of a fictional small town. Not to mention it has the best country soundtrack!

It is officially music festival season!

I’ll be heading to a 3-day country music festival next week and thought sharing a post like this would be useful for anyone else attending any sort of festival experience.

I think the most important thing I could say is…don’t over pack. The last thing you want to do is carry around a large, heavy water bottle that’s going to be bothering you all day. I’d rather buy what I can at the festival even if it means spending a little bit more.

comfort>everything else.

I’m going to share a couple of different things that may or may not work depending what festival you attend. I’ll be going to Tortuga on the beach and will most likely be wearing flip flops the whole time; however, that doesn’t necessarily mean i’d recommend them for Coachella or Ultra.

Small backpacks/fanny packs and pocket wallets are a must!

I don’t believe in reapplying makeup. Just use products that are sweat-proof and good enough to last all day long. I think the only makeup product I’d carry around is a lipstick or lip balm. Here are some of my favorite long lasting products to apply beforehand

Realistically, all i’ll really be carrying around will be sunglasses, travel sized sunscreen, a pocket wallet, lip stick, definitely a portable charger and maybe some advil since i’ll be #daydrinking.

Happy Friday, peeps!

I wanted to answer some of the most popular questions I get every now and then. I think it’s good to get a little personal on here sometimes.

Let’s get started!

Question #1: Where do you get your hair color done?

This is easily the question I get asked the most. Finding a good hairstylist in Miami isn’t easy and the amount of horrible balayages I’ve seen is absurd. there, I said it. My hairdresser has been coloring my hair for over 4 years and I wouldn’t trade her for the world! There’s been times (like recently) when I freak out and think I have too much blonde but eventually it blends and turns out just how I want. My hairstylist and only human I trust with my hair coloring is salon owner, Mari Lu from Innovations Salon (Bird Rd. Miami).

Question #2: What tool do you use to wave/curl your hair?

I use the NuMe Classic Wand 32MM to create my signature waves every single day along with a titanium flat iron to straighten out any flyaways or bumps near the top part of my head.

Question #3: How did you get your job at Royal Caribbean & do you like working there?

Truth be told, there aren’t a lot of big companies in Miami, so I get bombarded with questions about RCL all the time. I was an intern on the Corporate Responsibility team for a year where I worked on event planning and communications projects. Recently, I’ve switched over to another department as an employee and I’m so happy to be back full-time, long time. It’s a huge company with countless learning opportunities and I have nothing but good things to say about the corporation.

Question #4: Where do you shop for clothes?

For the most part, most of my wardrobe is pretty affordable.

  • PrettyLittleThing

  • Forever 21

  • Princess Polly Boutique

  • Missguided

  • Windsor Store

In-person shopping:

  • ZARA

  • TJ-Maxx

  • Free People

  • Urban Outfitters

Question #5: How did you start a blog?

I’ve always taken an interest in anything beauty or fashion related. It wasn’t until college (I was a communications major) when I discovered that I love to write and create visual & written content. At the time, my friends and sorority sisters would come to me with questions about different beauty products because they knew I’d spend about 80% of my paychecks at Sephora. So in 2017 I decided to create my website where I could write reviews and talk about different brands I was using. When I first started blogging, my site’s focus was particularly based on beauty products until eventually I began incorporating fashion and lifestyle content.

To me, blogging is about using my own platform where I create written content using my fun and witty tone to talk about products, brands and trends I love. I don’t really consider Instagram a ‘blog’ because anyone can take a cute photo. Sorry if you’re offended. I think IG is a great tool but don’t think it’ll be around in 10 years.

Question #6: Who takes your photos/how do you shoot + edit?

My best friend Adri, my mom, my sister and my blogger friend Alina are usually around to take a good IG shot for me! I use my iphone 7 plus to take photos and edit with Lightroom presets from Etsy.

It's a long weekend and I couldn't help but think about all the products and fashion items i'll be using these next couple of days. Not to mention that i'm in complete denial that there's a tropical storm headed our way (no big deal?)

But anyway, it got me thinking about sharing some of my favorite summer items I'll be using all season

Can you believe it’s already March? I can’t seem to keep up nowadays!

Anyways, I wanted to share everything I carry in my “everyday” bag.

For starters, there are so many women who don't see the need in carrying a handbag at all. Kudos to them because I’ll never be able to leave my house without one.

I pack only the essentials. This means nothing unnecessary, nothing dumb. The last thing I’d ever want is to carry around a useless heavy bag.

My “Everyday” bag is the one I take for work, class, errands, etc.

My “Going out/Night time” bag is a completely different story…

But anyway, here’s everything!

1.       Monthly Planner: I’m crazy busy these days and need to write down everything. Appointments, tests, assignments, birthdays, events… it’s all there! It’s pretty much the only thing keeping me sane these days, which means I’m taking it with me! Here is the one I’ve been using.

Note: packing a pen or two wouldn’t hurt

2.       Umbrella: Miami weather? It’s unpredictable and I don’t wave my hair every day for no damn reason.

3.       Mario Badescu Face Spray: You’ll never know when you need a hydrating boost or mid-day pick-me-up

4.       Advil: self-explanatory. Headaches suck.

5.       Nivea Smoothness Lip Care: Probably the closest makeup related thing in my bag. I refuse to pack any makeup at all because chances are….I’m already wearing some.

6.       Gum: an essential!

7.       Henri Bendel Key Chain Coin Purse: This is everything I need in a wallet. It’s small, has enough pockets (for me, at least) and allows me to cling on my car/house keys. Here is the one I use!

8.       Hand Sanitizer: Another obvious essential

9.       Ear phones: Can't go a day without listening to my Spotify playlist (obviously!)

10.   Phone Charger: I am a major iphone charger hoarder! “My phone died” is never an excuse I use

11.   Nature Valley: I always have a snack on me and these are just the easiest to grab!

Life question: do these ever expire?

And that pretty much sums up everything I carry around on a daily basis!

To keep everything in place,  I use a purse organizer for my Neverfull bag! Get one here
